planet from the sun. Earth is named for the Greek and Roman gods who produced
life. After all, earth is the only planet with life.

on the moon.
Nitrogen makes up 78% of the atmosphere and oxygen makes up 21%. The
surface of the Earth is 70% water and 30% land.
Life on Earth has been around for about 3.5 billion years. Life started
as protists in the seas and then evolved. Earth has water, sunlight, and
oxygen making it a perfect place for life.
