Do you pay for your own things?

Most students said that they pay for their own candy+gum as well as their own toys and games. Holiday presents were also purchased often by those who were polled.

Question 3:

How much of your allowance do you save if any?

We were surprised to learn that most of the students polled indicated that they try to save half of their allowance they get each week.

Question 4:

Do you have a savings account?

About 1/3 of those who were polled said they HAVE a bank account, but also keep a piggy bank at home, you know, for the little stuff.

Question 5:

How do you decide what to buy?

Unfortunatly, almost 2/3 indicated they decide on what to buy with the quote "I just see it and I want it." The quote that was second was "From a friend who has it."

Question 6:

Where do you go to buy your things?

Most students showed in the poll that they buy from the big department stores. Discount, outlet+ warehouse stores only showed that a small amount of people use them.

Question 7:

What do you notice when you are watching certain advertisments?

More than half of those polled pay attention to advertising colorfullness, jingles, slogans, rhymes and famous people suggesting that you buy the product when watching advertisments.

Question 8:

Do you search for the best price of things?

Surprisingly, almost half also indicated that they shop around for the best prices by checking different stores or reading the stores ads in the newspaper.

Question 9+10:

Do you buy before or after the holidays?

This one was close. 60% to 40% said that they buy things before the holidays.

Question 11:

Do you know any ways people can trick you into buying?

Most students didn't know the tricks of buying.
