There were two presidents in the 1980's.

--Ronald Reagan------------------George Bush
The president from 1981 to 1989 was Ronald Reagan, he was the 40th president. He was shot in 1981 in the chest but was all right afterwards. Ronald Reagan was born in 1911 in Tampico, Ill. He is a Republican with four children: Maureen, Michael, Patricia and Ronald. His wife is Nancy Davis.
George Bush was president from1989 to 1993. He was the 41st president. George Bush was born in 1924 in Milton, Mass. He is a Republican with six children, George, Robin, John, Neil, Marvin and Dorothy. His wife is Barbara.

Michael Jackson: He had a famous record, Thriller and it sold more than 40 million copies winning 8 unprecedented grammy awards. His dancing also captivated the public.
Sally Ride: Sally Ride was the first American woman to travel in space. She was on the Challenger in 1983 which lasted 6 days. She stopped working with space in 1987.
Nintedo was one very popular game. Some of the games of Nintedo were: Mario Brothers and Duck Hunt..
One computer game that was popular was Carmen San Diego a geography game where you try to find and catch the suspect. Your goal is to get Carmen San Diego, eventually.

Also soccer was popular back in the 1980's.
Nintedo, as you know is a game. But did you know it was invented in the 1980's? Well all I have to say is it is one fun invention!
Hand held T.V.'s were also invented in the 1980's. They could use them at work, or maybe in a car. Two popular shows are: Max Headroom, which was computer-generated, and Hill Street Blues which was a realistic police show ("And remember, let's be careful out there!").
Also personal computers were invented in the 1980's. Before they were invented people had to use HUGE computers, about as large as a large room.
