Fees:
Entrance fee of $10 into the park is required per vehicle or $4 per person. This is good for one week at Yellowstone National Park. A fee of $5 is required for non-motorized boat permits. For motorized boat permits, a $10 fee is required. Horseback riding, boat and bus tours and stagecoach rides also require a fee. One must have a permit for fishing, backcountry camping, and boating. For fishing, a park licence of $5-$10 is also required. Permits are available at Ranger Stations and Visitor Centers.
Accessibility:
Yellowstone is accessible from all four major directions. From the north, U.S.89; from the east U.S. 20, 14, and 16; from the south U.S. 89 and 26; and from the west, U.S. 191 and 20. Special Facilities:
Wheelchair accessibility is available in campgrounds, restrooms, and visitor centers. Five visitor centers can be found in Yellowstone.
Yelowstone was established on March 1, 1872 and was the world's first national park. At Yellowstone one can enjoy Old Faithful Geyser, Grand Canyon of Yellowstone, and spectacular waterfalls... not to mention lots of wildlife. Grizzly bears are an attraction all year long.
