SHREW. Another small, mouse-like critter. They are not rodents. They are insectivorous. Most are no more than two inches long. Their eyes are tiny, they have a long nose, and short, grey-brown fur. They feed both day and night and will starve if they go a several hours without food. They eat seeds and other high energy plant foods, but prefer insects and flesh.
