RASPBERRIES. Wild raspberries', or salmonberries' flowers have five bright pink petals. The berry ripens in late July and August and may be yellow, orange, or red. They are on 3 to 5 foot tall prickly canes found in moist, coastal, and mountainous areas. These berries are a favorite of bears.
