BALD EAGLE. When young bald eagles are mottled brown in color when they are around 4 or 5 years old they molt into the well known white head and tail with black bodies. They are the symbol of the United States and are known to live 20 or more years. They are birds of prey and scavengers.

GOLDEN EAGLES. The golden eagle is slightly smaller than the bald eagle and lives farther north. They are also birds of prey and scavengers.
