The outside of foot pass is use when you need to pass it quickly.
You are dribbling down the field and someone is on you and you need to pass it quickly so you use the outside of your foot.

How to do the outside pass.
1. First, lock your ankle with your foot point down and slightly in.
2. The knee of the kick foot is over the ball and bent.
3. The standing leg is bent at the knee for balance.
4. The foot is pointed away from the direction of the pass and farther away from the ball then the inside of foot.
5. Pass the ball.
