The outside of the foot pass is effective for getting the ball quickly and accurately to your teammate. This kick can be used for short passes but it has come to be recognized as a quick shot on goal.

When to do the Outside Kick
You're dribbling the ball and someone is on you. You can pass the ball to one of your teammates with the outside kick.
1. First, the non-kicking foot is kept wide to the left or right of the ball. Keep your ankle ridge.
2. Next, you point the toes of your kicking foot inward.
3. Your knee of you kicking leg is over the ball and bent
4. The standing leg is bent at the knee for balance, pointing away from the direction of the pass and farther away from the ball than in the inside of the foot pass.
5. Now you kick it
Coach Mark Hint
In the outside kick, the kicking leg should jab at the ball. The nonkicking leg hold your body weight. .
