Greek Art

Ancient Greek art developed between 1000 and 31 BC (When dealing with BC, higher numbers come before lower numbers. BC means Before Christ). Lots of Greek paintings appeared on structures, vases, and pots. No trace is found of the work of the great painters of the classical period. Although this image is hard to see, the vase depicts Aphrodite holding Enea who was wounded in a fight with Diomedes.
