Talking Whales

How Whales Are Social. Are Whales social   For Protection? Why Whales Use Sounds To Find Food
Whales are social by doing things together. Playing, talking and swimming in groups are social.Orca's are quite playful, they are also good for doing shows. When an orca is in a good mood and they are in the ocean they might do jumps, and turn in the water. Other whales, like the humpback whales are a great tourist attraction. They are also playful. They might come up to a small boat and tap it with its nose. Surprising enough the humpback whale has been hunted by humans and they are still friendly with us.

Most whales travel in groups for protection. The toothed whales except for maybe 2 or 3 are as large as the baleen whales. Orca's rarely leave their pod. They do that  so if one were to become sick they would protect it. They also do it so that if another group of whales were trying to attack them they would  have a chance.            Whales do not such keen smell. Sense their nose is on the top of them it is very had to smell something. By making sounds, to them it is like a guide dog guiding a human. It's also hard for them to see because their eyes are on the side of its head. When they are looking they can only see from the side of it's head.
