 I am going
to talk about the social aspect of sea lions.The sea lions have oil on the inside and out
through their skin so they can talk. When the sea lions have babies they are very social
and are found in large groups.After the mother has one pup it takes here a whole another
year to reproduce another pup.then that year she will take them to shore so the pups will
mate to make another bull in the harem.They nurse their pup about 5 to six
months.It doesn't take long before they are in the water .After mating they break up and
during the sixth month they are gone.  They also have a interesting behavior.They
have been known to be very strong and are very noisy.The always push and shoveto see who
is the biggest and the srongest but not bitting.They all curl up together and do that
aroundthe bachelor beaches.they practice on being hasty and mean.They only do shoving and
pushing to see who's the strongest.That is their behavior. |
