    Disney has come out with many movies and even some T.V. shows.  Below you will find information many Disney cartoons that at one point were books.

    The Little Mermaid is about a mermaid, named Ariel, who wants to be a human. But when she exchanges her voice to be a human for a few days to an evil under water enchantress she must win the love of a handsome prince named Eric. By Hans Christian Anderson

    Beauty and the Beast is about a young women and a beast. The beast was a prince, but he gets turned into a beast by a beautiful enchantress who casts a spell a spell on him and his castle. To turn back into a prince he must win the love of a girl before his twenty-first birthday or he will remain a beast forever. And this pretty young girl is the beast's prisoner and she just happens to be the lucky girl to fall in love with the beast.

Winnie the Pooh is a classic story about Christopher Robin's stuffed animals . It all take place in the hundred Acre Woods. By A.A. Mylne

    Pinnochio is about a puppet maker who makes a puppet who he names Pinnochio and then he wishes for a son. Then Pinnochio turns into a walking and talking puppet without strings and he goes  on many adventures and runs into trouble. Pinnochio wants to be a real boy but he has to prove to a fairy princess that his is worthy.

    Cinderella is about a girl who was once rich and then her father died and she has to live with her wicked stepmother. When Cinderella grows older the prince of the kingdom has a ball where he will choose who  he will marry. Every lady in the kingdom is invited but Cinderella's stepmother won't let her go. So her fairy godmother let's her go secretly but she has to be back by midnight or her clothes and carriage will turn back into   what they were. At the ball she falls in love with the prince and looses her shoe and the prince sets out to find her.

   Sleeping Beauty is about a princess who pricks her finger  on a spinning wheel  and falls into  a deep sleep.  She sleeps for 100 years. A prince comes and kisses sleeping beauty and she wakes up and they live happily ever after. 

    Alice in Wonderland is about a girl who gets lost in her own imaginary dream land and finds all kinds of things from oversize caterpillars to an angry queen. The sequel to the book is Through the Looking Glass.  By Lewis Carol

   Hercules is about a half god half human who wanted to be a hero. He performs his twelve labors. He falls in love   with a beautiful woman  named Megarra. His adventure is to protect himself from Hates, what he doesn't know is his love interest is Hates's employee. This is a Greek legend that was twisted by Disney

    101Dalmatians is about two dogs that have fifteen puppies. Cruella Diville wants the puppies and steels them to make a coat. The adventure in the story is the two parent dogs trying to rescue their puppies. They end up getting  one hundred and one Dalmatians.  By Dodey Smith
