Tide

There are two low and two high tides each day. The lowest of two tides is called Lower High Water. The highest of two high tides is called Higher High Water. If the Tide is high then it is good to go fishing. At the low Tides it would be harder to fish because the fish would be all the way at the bottom. If it was high tide you would have a better chance to catch fish because the fish can come up higher to eat. During high tide the water is usually dirty because of debris & dirt from the shore which ends up in the ocean. The way you would know that it is low or high tide is when you see water marks on rocks or on the sand.

People can also tell when is the best or worst time to fish dive etc. The best time for diving is when it is new moon, it is bad to dive when it is a full moon because the moonlight would scare away the fish. The only good moon phases for deep fishing is Full moon, New moon, First quarter, & Last quarter.
