Kula-Resource
The Hawaiians knew the kula as land or just a place to live. In that area were lots of rivers which went through plantations, ditches ('auwai) & loi kalo farms (taro). In some of these great rivers Hawaiians were only allowed to bathe in the mouth of the river. Some important plant life in the kula area is kukui, ki, kalo,'ulu, & 'uala.
