Hi, my name is Kelly and I am in the sixth grade.

My favorite T.V. shows are "South Park," "The Simpsons," "King of The Hill," and "Daria." I like all of the characters in South Park including Eric, Kyle, Stan, and Kenny because of their unique personalities, the language, humor, and most of all, because Kenny dies. I'm a straight A student at King Kaumuali'i School and love computers. When I grow up I want to be another Bill Gates.

In Think Quest, my jobs were to make a trail map, do at least 3 or more articles, write all of the quiz questions, help write the trail answers, and make the resource page. All of these things are completed now and soon will be up on the page. The specific articles that I did were the legend on Kanaloa-Huluhulu, the legend of Kamapua'a, and information on Night Marchers plus an encounter. I didn't come across too many problems but one of them was keeping track on the disk.

I did the entire resource page which is basically a table of contents which lists all of the informative articles. Before I did all of this, I had to learn how to make a web map which makes a certain part of a graphic clickable and how to format a table. Later, I had to do some research on each part of an ahupua'a which were uka, mesic, kula, and kai.

When I was doing my quiz questions I had learn how to use templates and do a little programming which is the source of interactivity. The trail map is a guide which shows where you are and where you are headed. I drew the trail map by hand and colored it in later with Adobe Photodelux. Another thing I did was the trail answers that tell that you got it right and encourage the player.

I think that being in Think Quest was a great experience for me and taught me how to commit myself in choices that I make. All of this took lots of time sitting in front of the computer for hours but when everything is finished I know I accomplished what I had begun. I had gotten through it.
