The Internet is chock-full of interesting pages about astronomy, and there is a place for everyone. From detailed databases to frivolous fun, astronomy sites can be found all over the Internet. You can use this list of our favorites as a starting point for further exploration in astronomy or just for entertainment!

The Space Shuttle

Star Space Shuttle Launches
One of the most interesting features available through NASA is this simply incredible archive of information about every shuttle launch. Missions of particular interest include:
  • STS-31 -- launch of the Hubble Space Telescope
  • STS-61 -- repair of the Hubble Space Telescope
  • 51-L -- a detailed account of exactly how the Challenger exploded
