Though generally deemed to be the most conservative of all musical forms, a closer examination of its history reveals that there have been a great many revolts and rebellions with the Classical world, resulting in a wide and varied range within this style. It is generally conceeded by most experts on the subject that there have been five major schools within what is commonly classified as “Classical Music”: the Renaissance, the Baroque, the Classic Era, the Romantic Era, and the “Modern” Era.
