Seals are sometimes confused with sea lions. Seals don't have ear flaps like
sea lions and the true seals hind flippers are fixed in a backward-facing
position and can not be rotated forward. Seals eat a variety of fish,
shellfish, and cephalopods. The largest seal is the elephant seal and
the smallest seals are about 4 feet long.
