TQ Experience: My name is Brandon . I am going to be a junior at Northwest Senior High School. This ThinkQuest project has given me a new look at the Internet and how to use it. Before entering the contest, I used books and encyclopedias to find information for research projects, but now I have yet another source of knowledge and information. I learned a lot of new things by researching racism, poor study skills, peer pressure, and gangs in the schools. I learned that how peer pressure can have a very negative affect on a students performance in school. I also found new and more helpful ways to study and how to combat the destructiveness of racism, and gangs in my school system. Hopefully, I can return to school and share my new found knowledge with my friends. |
