He, unlike several other people that I have spoken with, does not find the career adventurous. He feels that "diving is hard work." It is "not dangerous if you use your head." It is a "good life depending on how good you are."
His main stress of the conversation was the importance of divers. He feels that divers are responsible for many everyday things that we are unaware of. You are able to cross a bridge because a diver has checked it underwater. You are able to turn on a light switch because divers have laid the underwater cable.
Many don't realize the importance of divers in our everyday lives.
