HIWASSEE RIVER

The Hiwassee River is located in Polk County along the State Highway 30, which can be reached from U.S. 411 or U.S. 64. The Hiwassee is 23.5 stretch of water that extends from the North Carolina state line and the Appalachia Dam to U.S. Highway 411 in Benton, Tennessee. It is in the extreme southeast corner of
Tennessee within Polk County. (about 50 miles northeast of Chattanooga)
