About The Chem101 Site

This site was created in the summer of 1996, by 3 high school students (Jamie, Bon, and Abidemi Adeboje) as part of Thinkquest's First Annual Web Site Creation Contest. Experience Building Web Pages:He had just begun learning how to build web pages through a project in his high school. The project was to create a web site for the school.

Experience Surfing The Web:He surfs the web quite frequently.

High School Grade:Sophomore

Chemistry Experience:He has taken high school chemistry, and is in the middle of a summer college level chemistry course.

Living In:Illinois

As you can see, our group was split into two parts and the only person who had any experience creating web pages (no matter how little it was) lived halfway across the continent from his other two partners. Also, Jamie went on vacation for a couple of weeks to the Jersey Shore in July and August which required him and the group to do all communication via the internet and e-mail.

Also, due to the lack of experience in creating web pages, we used many books, CD's, and World Wide Web Pages as references and resources. We would like to give these people, books, and sites the credit that they deserve.Chem101 Credits.

Because this is our first attempt at creating web pages, we would appreciate your comments. If you wish to add your comments, you have two choices:
