Chemistry should be FUN, so that is what we tried to do. We have dedicated a large portion of our site to experiments. We have both user inputted experiments, and experiments that we (CHEM101 builders) put up.
The Standard CHEM101 Experiments
The standard set of CHEM101 experiments, consists of 21 experiments. 11 of them are pyrotechnical and 10 of them are standard labs that might be done in a chemistry class. We would like to emphasize that caution should be taken BEFORE any of these labs should be attempted!
Also, on some of our labs, we included videos which makes the labs easier if you don't have time to complete them, and would just like to see them work, or couldn't get the labs to work and would like to see our outcome. We also have questions built in to most of our labs. If you enter your answers, and you submit your answers, a page comes up with the correct answers so you can compare the two sets of answers.
The User Inputed Experiments
The user inputted experiments are exactly what it sounds like, User Inputted Experiments. Chem101 claims no responsibility for the publication of these experiments, so we can not control any outcomes that come due the the trial of one of these experiments. (What we are saying, is we claim no legal responsiblities for ANY of the user inputted labs!!!!!) We will try to patrol what labs are put up, so we can keep only SAFE labs up.
