Play the ThinkQuest Stock Portfolio Game

Please submit five stocks through e-mail and give the reasons for picking them. Your portfolio which will be updated daily, will be posted along with others in the S & P portfolio manager under ThinkQuest. For example,

McDonald's - Strong growth. Well-known international franchise.
Microsoft - Has software on every PC.
Coke - Good earnings. Strong international recognition.
Netscape - Good growth potential. Has a very popular Internet browser.
Disney - Just bought Capital Cities/ABC. Good growth potential.

These are the rules of the ThinkQuest portfolio game. Each investor will be given a total sum of 100,000 imaginary dollars. He must buy exactly five stocks, investing $20,000 in each. He will then submit his selections to Investing for Kids using the form below. Each participant is limited to one portfolio. The portfolio managing system can hold an unlimited amount of portfolios. Click here to view the ThinkQuest portfolio. There is no limit on how many portfolios we can setup on the S & P server. Therefore, we invite all participants to submit their stock portfolio and to share with others on the Internet.

Please do not change any of the settings in the ThinkQuest portfolio.
