David Leung, a senior at Palos Verdes High School in southern California, has developed an interactive web site called InvestSmart for teachers and students to learn about investing. The site includes information on investing basics, a library of company stocks to research, real life examples, and a stock simulation game that allows participants to play the market with no risk. |

The stock quotes are only 20 minutes behind so much more current than newspaper listings. Teachers can use the game for classroom activities and individual or group work. The site averages 1 million hits a day and is accessed by students from all over the world. To access InvestSmart, go to yahoo and search for InvestSmart. http://library.thinkquest.org/10326/investment_lessons/index.html
