Arthur Golden



Arthur Golden was born in Carbondale, Pennsylvania, Novermber 18, 1922. He lived in Utica, New York for more than 30 years. He was president of a real estate firm and worked for Program Associates Speaking Bureau for more than 25 years speaking mainly at high school and college commencements. He considers his outstanding success in life as being a volunteer campaign coordinator of the Albany Oregon school bond measure, $15 million, passed on May 21. 1996. It was the first bond passed in the history of that school system. Arthur currently lives in Eugene, Oregon. You may write to him at 1313 Lincoln St, Eugene, OR, 97401. He has maintained a rich correspondence throughout his life with people he meets, both famous and not so famous. One of his most cherished correspondents was Dr. Suess. Arthur is well known in his community for his caring and supportive role helping others. He is especially dedicated to children and schools.
