Running Shoes

For all the talk you may hear about hi-tech fabrics that will make your running more comfortable, the simple truth remains: the vast majority of high school runners will train in a cotton t-shirt and a pair of nylon shorts, so the biggest (and most important) equipment purchase most of us will need to make is our shoes. At first it may seem simple, "Great, all I need to do is go out buy some shoes and I'm set," but the reality is that while there are a myriad of choices out there, not all shoes will fit your foot. One thing that a lot of people don't realize is that shoes are designed to fit your feet in more ways than just size. So here goes the Runner's Oasis attempt at shoe buying education...
