Our site is organized using a number of techniques. You can go directly to our feature articles, find a specific page using the index, or find information by time period such as the past, present and future. A glossary of terms used on this site is also provided for your convience. When you are reading any of our articles, words that appear in red identify words that are included in our glossary. Click on any red word and it will bring you to the appropriate letter in the glossary. This site also has interactive forums. Through the forums you can participate in interesting discussions and let other people know your opinions. Our articles also contain audio features that read the text to you. There are three options: WAV for Windows machines (using the 
icon), SND for Macs (using the 
icon), and Real Audio for advanced browsers such as Netscape 3.0 and MS Internet Explorer 3.0 (using the
