There is so much to learn about netiquette that it takes two pages to tell it. This is a continuation page on how to conduct yourself when working with the net. Follow these rules and the rules on the last netiquette page and you're sure to be a success when dealing with the net in business.
Rules:
1) limit downloads
2) adhere to time restrictions
3) copy downloaded files
4) inquiries to Archie should be in mail form
5) when downloading check for copyright or licensing agreements

Rules:
1) never give out user ID or password
2) keep messages short and use one subject per message
3) don't use academic networks for commercial work
4) include signature at bottom of e-mail messages
5) your signature footers should include name, position, affiliation, Internet address, and should not exceed four lines
6) don't capitalize unless you mean to shout
7) use the underscore symbol before and after title of book (_)
8) be careful when using sarcasm or humor
9) don't confuse leader with acronyms
Rules:
1) monitor for a few days before you join a list
2) see if there is a FAQ for a group before you join
3) follow guidlines listowner has posted
4) remember some groups have people from different countries
5) if you must post a long message type WARNING: LONG MESSAGE! at the top

Rules:
1) don't include large graphics in your html documents
2) when you have video or voice files include description of file size
3) URL author should always include trademark and include e-mail address at the bottom of HTML documents and date of last revision
