INTERVIEW OVER THE PHONE, ON THE ROAD, AND AT THE TABLE

Not all interviews are conducted in person. A lot of interviews are conducted over the phone, on the road, or at the table. Just as there was an etiquette for interviews in person, there is also an etiquette for interviews on the phone, on the road, and at the table.

CONVERSATIONS

There are three parts to keep in mind while conversing wherever you are in an interview.

They are:

1) count to two after a person has finished speaking,

2) stay on wavelength

and 3) paraphrase.
