Random Logic is a form of AI programming that comes to us from the natural world. In nature, there are two types of random logic, caused by two different factors - lack of information and intentional randomness.

What is meant by lack of information is that if an organism does not really know what do to in a situation, then it's response will be random. For instance, when you buy a lottery ticket, you certainly are not aware of which six numbers will be the winners. So, you choose six random numbers that you feel the best or luckiest about. Uninformed random logic works much the same within a video game. When the computer finds itself in a situation with which it has not been programmed to deal with, it will do the best it can, often reacting randomly and unpredictably. This adds to the realism of the game.
