Real World Applications

Computational models of group motion, such as Swarm, have surprisingly many applications. In Disney's animated feature film The Lion King the wildebeast stampede was created with the aid of such a model. In an episode of Star Trek: Voyager, a particle system software was used to create an animation of flocking space creatures.
