THE UCUMAR
The Ucumar is like a bear, as a bearman. It is said that he lives in very hide places inside the gulches, in the caves of the crags.It is believed that it is very short and fat. He has long beard, and the feet and the legs like the bears. He leaves this way, the rake for where he walks and mainly near the slopes where he goes to take water. The Ucumar steals to the women and it takes them to live with him and he also steals to the children. It is said that he has tiny but very alive eyes, of very strong look.
Many cases of the Ucumar are believed that he has stolen women and he has had children with them. It is said that with the time the mother and the son escape from the Ucumar and come to live with the families of the women.
THE UCUMAR
It is said that previous years, were found very near the houses, in a dry stream that goes to a gulch between two high hills, narrow gulch, sling, a rake of feet of bear without a doubt, but big, that would make believe in a bearman. Screams were heard in the high of the hills some that other nights, screams that some say to hear until the present when the wind is favorable. Then this belief was reinforced with another that circulated. A man had walked for the field, like they call, "campeando", this is, amid mounts and high hills looking for animals. They say that he came close on the stream to drink, felt to bark to the dogs that accompanied him, when he saw a being similar to a man with the long hair. That covered him the face. The man connects it and it mounted the horse, but the connected character began to throw the knot in such a way and with so much force that the man feeling lost, took out the knife and cut the knot. The bear that we will say this way, pursued him a lot of distance, arriving ours pursued to the houses without encouragement and without the mount that had lost in his desperate escape. Another time the dogs had surrounded another as this, but he does not escape, he sat down, and he defended of the dogs that surrounded him.
