THE RELATIVE

It has the belief of the people that comes to the geniuses every year, that the owner of the genius has, inside the factory, a diabolical being that every year he has to eat up some of those people that come to the crop. They imagine it, or they tell everyone that it is like a huge and bad dog and that it is always watching of anyone that passes somewhere around to eat up it. As every year it always happens some accident in those big factories, when some dies, they say:

Ah!, the relative has already have a victim!

That means that the relative has already eaten up someone. If it happens another accident they think that the relative is hungry and that he has eaten up to another more, and that without a doubt, as there are not two without three, it has to be a third accident that they believe to happen that is the relative the one that eats up them.

They are careful when they go by the mouth of the boiler, because the most frequent accident is that the man slides and fall to the boiler and die there charred. To the old boiler that worked with firewood, because today almost all the boilers work with gas. They also happen accidents in the "trapiche", where the worker goes to throw the cane. They slide and they can fall inside the tape, that it is believed say that it transports the cane until the mill, and of course, it crushes it totally there. All think that is the relative that has eaten it to him because of that place they cannot take out it more. They disappear completely. They believe that the relative gives the owner the luck and the abundance. So how many more the relative eats up, they believe that it is year of more profit for the owner of the genius
