THE CACUY
They were two siblings, male and woman. They were orphan. They lived in the mount. It is said that the sister had become cacuy, very mean.
The sister was in the house. He used to travel somewhere around, to look for something. He usually, have something for breakfast, to toss something to the stomach, because she had not given him someting to eat.
When the brother retired, she prepare some food for her and his tea and then the he returned to hours of noon to see if he had some food to eat. When he arrived, she was inside, half sick and she said that she could not work. She said this way:" And good, oh!", neither fire had and it happened and the time passed and always the same thing. He came, and he had to make fire and to put and heat water to make coffe, and their food. After he prepared the food he offered her something to eat. And she serve herself just a little bit, and she always had little disposition. And he noticed that everything went to less, to less. Then he prepared something to eat lunch and the same thing, ate little bit. He said that she could no longer live this way.
At the long time, it arrived conquered of hunger and of dream and he didn't find neither fire. Then the one began to be bothered point to work for the mount, to come tired and to prepare the lunch.
The sister liked a lot honey of the field. He always accustomed in his travels to take out honey for his sister. Tired and boring he said; I will invite she to go for a walk for the field.
That he tells she
But, why don't leave to travel for the field, to go for a walk a little. It can be that you are sick because you are alone . And traveling somewhere around could find a beehive, to eat it in the stick that is delicious the honey.

The boy was called Pascual.
When she felt lonly she began to call to her brother. And too much time she has been calling him. And she was scare of what was in those deserts and it could not descend. And she screamed to the brother day and night: Pascual!... !Pascual!... !Cascul!... !Cascul!...
She screamed such a long time that later, she said different: Cacul!.... Cacul!... Cacuy!....
As an animal she was already become, she could say the correct name so she pronuced "cacuy". And that was the punishment because they were only siblings, and the brother was good and she was ingrate. He came out to work and she didn't assist him anything.
And screams ugly the cacuy. She only at night screams strong, it moves the tree of a scream. And it is ugly to hear her at night. she gives chill.
