Storm Boy

Storm Boy is about a chief's son who goes fishing. A storm comes and he falls in the water. He wakes up and he's on a beach under a strange sky. These different people, the orca people, see the boy and make him welcome by feeding him raw fish and teaching him their dances and ceremonies. When the boy gets lonely, the chief of the orca people tells him to do a special chant to himself and think of home. He is then carried on an orca back home and washes ashore in front of his family and village.

"But though the boy was enjoying himself, he began to think more and more of home with each song he sang. He missed his father and mother and wondered if he would ever find his way back to them again."
