What means cloning?

The clone – one ore more descendent cells originate from one single cell made by asexual reproduction and genetic identically.

To clone – the reproduction of DNS – segments; it is a procedure of gene – technology. This way the genotype of a cell can be multiplied.

Would this be done with an animal or a human being, copies would be made. Cloning means asexual reproduction. A fertilized ovum contains germ cells half from mother's side and half from father’s side. From this ovum the genotype is sucked off an replaced by a complete disposition from a corporeal cell.

On some animals this treatment has already been proved with success. On human beings it still has not. But science works on it. There is a big temptation: hard workers could be multiplied so as top ranking players or genius men. Or would it even be possible to make oneself immortal by duplication?

Cloning offers a lot of economical and medical potential and is therefore subject of extensive investigations. Cloning allows to create experimentally uniovular twins from animals. If in an early stadium of development the embryo is taken from the uterus, divided in two parts and every part implanted in the uterus of an other female animal, two identical individuals will grow up.
