today's society we tend to ignore that human beings will die. Our society focuses
on the present and egoistic enjoyment. Everything which bars our joy has to
be eliminated. Children, handicapped persons, people in need of nursing are
a nuisance - like diseases, economic problems etc. Our "immortality-delusion"
seems to be linked to our search for "perfect solutions", as in the case of
abortion: stadiums, in which abortion may be undertaken. We do not want to be
confronted with the fact that we as human beings are not able to really solve
all the problems and questions that exist. Our delusion makes us think that
we can influence everything.
