it is true that oodinator is busy because of its nature, but the profession have many oppotunity to meet many people and worth doing. For all that, the people who want to be coodinator do not be coodinator soon. For that profession need high knowledge of medicine because of concerning death of human. Then, what does the people do to be coodinator.

In U.S., the people who want to be a coodinator need the lisence of nurce. Once you show your intention that you want to be a coodinator, you are suppose to spend the time called probationary time in the place called OPO. To put it another, this is the term for judging aptitude those who want to be a coodinator for a coodinator. After about 6 months later, by the recommendation of the boss in OPO, it is possible for those to attend the Study and Training time called National American Transplant COodinator(NATCO) for 2 weeks in Finex, Alizona. There is surrounded by desert, so if you were to go a downtown, it took 30 minutes to get to the downtown by car. So, needless to say, Finex is good place for Study and Training of becoming a coodinator, I think of it as aim of the secretariat. Once you finish this program of NATCO for 2 weeks, you can be given a certificate of a coodinator in Wasington.
In this way, you can become a coodinator in the United States. Thanks to this long study and training for becoming a coodinator, it is increasing the trust in transplant medical treatment, and a coodinator. And as to you, you can get the job of worth doing by passing through this long study and training.
In Japan, Japan Organ Transplant network began to hold a Seminar or Study and Training intended for those who want to be a coodinator and who is graduated or have the license of medical engagement. However, this system is still draft or unfinished, so JOTnw is now demanded for making established one.
Besides this trail of JOTnw, in Japan, there is another trail of rasing a coodinator. This is the test of becoming a transplant coodinator kept making certification, sponcered by ministry of health and welfare. Most university came to begin to make subject about a transplant coodinator along with the suggestion from ministry of welfare and health in 1999.
