Project The Stage |
| The
purpose of this page |
| "Bioethics"
is an original word which is created from two Greek words;
"bios", which means life, and "ethikos",
which means ethics or mores. It is an idea to unite multiple
fields --medical treatments, morals, politics, finances,
and philosophy, and so on without any walls between them--
in holistic situation, and to turn these developing new
issues in to public policies. We turning to present this
page, using the most advanced theories and materials. |
|
| What
is "Stage" |
Project The
Stage is our name for this ThinkQuest'99 project. Stage
means that we have been thinking of this activity, making
web teaching materials in ThinkQuest'99 as our stage which
we represent ourselves. And we made the team from the different
culture, different language, and from the place which do
not use English, so we have many disadvantageous point compared
with other teams. But we have strong intention that we are
sure to make the great web site for learning the Bioethics.
Therefore, the name of stage also have been including intension
that with all the many disadvantageous point, "We are
sure to perform greatly" upon the stage which have
the sacredness.
Project
The Stage have always done our best, so many people helped
us develop this project. And our project was reported at
the top of front page in the Asahi News Paper, May 29th,
1999.

| What
is the ThinkQuest'99 |
| ThinkQuest is
an adventure in technology and education. It offers a new
way of learning that links students an dteachers worldwide
and connects them to a virtually unlimited store of human
and information resources. It motivates students to develop
academic skills in a dynamic and challenging environment.
It provides them with a unique opportunity to create valuable
multimedia educational tools for the use of other students
around the world. These opportunities did not exist before
the advent of the Internet and its associated technologies.
ThinkQuest's vision is to call attention to this exciting
