3) Rainbow Lorikeet
Trochoglossus haematodus
(scientific name)
Height- 11-12 inches
Identification- all over pattern of colorful feathers.  Live in rainforests and woodlands, and are usually found high up in the trees.  Females lay usually 2-3 eggs
Voice- loud screeching noises
Habitat- rain forests, woodlands
Range- Primarily in Northern Australia, but  also found in Indonesia, New Guinea and eastern Australia
Migration Path- moves from Indonesia to Australia

4) White Stork
Ciconia ciconia (scientific name)
Height- 39-45 inches
Identification- long legged bird, eats frogs, reptiles, insects and snails
Habitat- storks live near humans and will make their nests on buildings as well as on trees and cliffs
Range- found primarily in Africa, as well as in Europe and Asia
Migration Path- winters in southern Africa
