Pecualiarities of the Bulgarian school

The exercises of the Bulgarian gymnasts are characterized by a complex composition, rapid tempo, risk, difficulty, expressiveness, organic linking of music accompaniment with gymnasts' play as well as by aspiration to create a completed artistic image. Additional features are the variety and the virtuosity of the handling the apparata. Both artistics and ability to contact the audience are very typical of the Bulgarian gymnasts, too. The compositions of the group exercises are also of top quality. There is preciseness of the figures containing high ejections and re-ordering in the play of two- and three-member groups. The power of music and dynamics of movements become entangled. There exists much mood, dancing attitude, and synchrone of the performance as a whole.
