The Hognosed Viper, at less than 1/2 a meter long, is one of the smallest poisonous snakes in the world. However, it's venom is among the most potent. It is perfectly concealed by the dead leaves in it's native habitat, the forest floor in the Atlantic coast of the Costa Rican rainforest . |
