The Wayne and Eyespan are instruments for measuring the speed and accuracy
of eye-hand coordination. The Wayne instrument will also be utilized to evaluate speed and
accuracy of body movements in response to visual information. The visual factors involved
in maintaining balance during athletic performance will be tested using a sequence of
vision/balance tasks which simulate actual sports performance conditions. A sports vision
specialist should be contacted for follow-up care, if indicated, in these areas.
