Galaxies, stars, nebulae, planets, moons. Astronomy is the study of these things, how they are made and how they move. This site is dedicated to enabling students to have a grasp of the basics of astronomy so that they can begin observing and studying stars and other objects in the great expanse of space with greater understanding. It includes a section on the basic terms used in astronomy, a section on the history of man's exploration of space, and a feedback section.
