Setting Up a Linux Firewall - 08/15/99 - Erebus

If you have read my article on setting up a web server, than you should most definitely read this article. It is imperative in any situation when you connect a server to the internet that there are some basic security measure being implemented. Generally that means you should place the server behind a firewall. Even if you don't know what a firewall is at this point, read on! I will try to explain the different types and how to setup a secure linux firewall. So lets get going!
