Australia is a fascinating country. It is full of unusual animals, amazing culture and music. We have included information on the outback, language (with just a click of your mouse you can hear and enjoy the unique sound of the Australian accent), history to help you understand the people of Australia, cities, geography (Australia is big!), temperature (it is summer in Australia when it is winter in the United States) and links to get even more information.

This site was prepared by two eighth grade students for the purpose of entering the International ThinkQuest Contest created by Advanced Network and Services, Inc. This contest allows students ages 12 to 19 to display their computer skills over the Internet, learn to communicate with others via E-mail and the Internet, and provides a method to learn and report on a very interesting subject of their choice.
