The Scorpions---Hunting

A hunting scorpion walks slowly on the ground, sensing any moving animal with the fine hairs on its legs / on the front part of its head. When it finds its prey, the scorpion seizes it with its pincers, and injects poison into the prey's body with the sting at the end of its tail. Most scorpion poisons are harmless to humans, but some are so deadly they can kill a human in a few hours time!

A female scorpion gives birth to several babies at a time. These baby scorpions look like miniatures of their mother. When they have moulted once, they will have to leave their mother and live on their own. They take about a year to become fully grown scorpions.
