Reptiles Reptiles are cold-blooded animals. Their body temperatures change with the air temperature. If the air temperature rises, the body temperature of a reptile rises. The same happens when the air temperature drops. Therefore reptiles have to bask in the sun to warm up every morning after the cold night. We will be introducing mainly the snakes and lizards of the desert.
